Survey of Printmaking, March 2 and 3

This workshop is a whirlwind! Over two days, we will quickly cover all the different types of prints and the basic processes of intaglio, relief and screen printing. Designed as an introduction to many processes to help participants choose subjects to investigate further. Great for someone in museum studies or collectors who would like to learn more about the processes behind the art of printmaking.

This workshop is primarily lecture and demonstration based, but participants will have opportunities to try processes for themselves with hands-on demos, so be prepared to get your hands dirty!

2 dates available: 10am - 4pm on February 2 and 3; 10am-4pm on March 2 and 3

All workshops are taught by master printmaker Julia Samuels and are held at Overpass Projects Headquarters at 545 Pawtucket Avenue, Pawtucket, RI. All materials are provided, and additional materials may be purchased on site. Coffee and light lunches are provided for full day workshops, and snacks for evening workshops.
